Research and References.

In able to create a convincing boxer animation I needed to get a reference from a real person using boxing moves. to do this I used an online recourse such as you tube.  This helped me to visualize how fast a boxer moves and how they use there arms and body when punching the punch bag. When doing my animation I could base it off these video to make sure I get my timing and poses right.

I Also referred The animator's survival kit  when trying to create my own walk cycle for my animation. I found the book to be very useful for example it explains in great detail each step of creating a walk cycle, specifically the author says " All walks are different. No two people in the world walk the same." (Williams. R, 2001, pp.103). I was able to incorporate this into my own animation. For example as my character is a boxer he would be energetic and possibly angry. I could apply this to the characters walk style.
